Desert Stream A. R. M. — 12488 Venice Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90066; (310) 572–0140. Desert Stream offers a wide range of counseling, educational seminars, and support groups for those struggling with homosexuality as well as with AIDS. The associated Living Waters Program developed by Andrew Comiskey is a small-group program that offers Christian counseling for people seeking change and training for counselors.

Evergreen International — P.O. Box 3, Salt Lake City, UT 84110; (800)391-1000 or (801)535-1658. Evergreen is a program developed by and associated with the Mormon Church (LDS). However, its approach is not primarily focused on spiritual healing but on secular psychological and psychiatric approaches to treating homosexuality.

Exodus International — P.O. Box 2121, San Rafael, CA 94912; (415) 454–1017. Exodus is an umbrella organization of over two hundred ministries nationwide that treat homosexuality from a variety of Christian perspectives. It offers referrals and additional resources.

Homosexuals Anonymous — P.O. Box 7881, Reading, PA 19603; (215) 376–1146. A ministry for homosexuals based on the twelve-steps program of Alcoholics Anonymous.

National Association for Research and Treatment of Homosexuality (NARTH) — 16452 Ventura Boulevard, Encino, CA 91436; (818) 789–4440. NARTH is an organization of nearly four hundred professionals across the country who treat homosexuality from a variety of perspectives.

Pastoral Care Ministries — P.O. Box 1313, Wheaton, IL 60189. An international ministry led by Leanne Payne to homosexuals and others with sexual or relational brokenness. Conducts five to six major healing conferences and pastoral care schools per year.

The Rabbinical Council of America — Rabbi Barry Freundel, Chairman of the Ethics Committee, Congregation Kesher Israel, 2801 N Street, N. W., Washington, DC 20007; (202) 333–3579. The Council, which is the national organization of Orthodox Jewish Rabbis, maintains a referral list of professionals who treat homosexuality from a perspective that is compatible with Orthodox Jewish beliefs.

Redeemed Life — P.O. Box 1211, Wheaton, IL 60189; (708) 393–7509. Founded and led by Rev. Mario Bergner, Redeemed Life is a ministry of discipleship and pastoral care for the sexually broken, not exclusively homosexuals.
